    Is life only interesting/beautiful to you because of its finite nature ? I find that most people avoid thinking about death altogether and focus on the beauty of life to try and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Immortality would allow people to pursue their passion and curiosity forever, if they so chose. Of course they could always opt out if they preferred.
