You have a personal preference as to when you can and will want to work out. Life may throw you lemons, make lemonade. We have all experienced that at one time or another, and that is fine as we will explain. If you are truly motivated to work-out, then you can do it and feel comfortable doing it at any time of day.
Is there a time that is best for exercising? That has become an increasingly important consideration for anyone who wants to start a serious fitness exercise program. The reason is exercise is just one more demand on our time. Because exercising regularly is so important, however, any hassles it creates is worth it in the long run. Not having the time or not seeing results are common reasons people use for not exercising. For many people, the bottom about the best time to exercise is whenever they can squeeze it into a busy schedule. If you want to exercise in the morning, and have not actually started yet – take heart to this information. It’s a fact that we can reset our internal clocks to accept whatever schedule we need. Of course it may take a little while, but that will not take very long. Be patient, that’s the only thing you can do. Your clock will reset and it will quickly become a habit.
According to some evidence, which is being debated, the evening is the best time to work out. That assertion is with regard to the best time for your body to be exercising. So that is the scientifically ideal time. Many people’s schedules are at odds with this theory. The bottom line put forth by many professionals is that it is more important to be able to be dedicated to your fitness regimen. The scientific view tends to get overridden because people do have more success when they exercise at a time that doesn’t interfere with their lives. So if you need to exercise earlier than 6 PM, then that is what’s best for you. That makes sense, right? It’s up to the individual, then, to determine the best time of day for them to exercise. Plus you need to consider what form of exercise you will be doing. Then just make a plan and stick to it like glue.
Whenever possible move your workouts to late afternoon. Many believe there are compelling reasons for doing this. Research proves that we are of course more physically capable of working out in the late afternoon. Endurance is also increased in the late afternoons. At this point we are less prone to injury because our muscles are already warmed up from the days activities. It is always best to stick to afternoon programs regardless of the fitness programs.
