    #BS1006 – This image really helped in visualising the muscle fibres and t-tubule arrangement in 3D. You can see the connection of t-tubule to extracellular environment.

    Fibro refers to muscle fibres and myalgia refers to pain. Hence the literal meaning of Fibromyalgia is the chronic pain in muscles, tendons and ligaments of the patient.
