The amount of people who are looking to build muscle do not realise the important basics of using weights.
The main reason so many people fail to gain muscle is down to the lack of attention that they put into their routine.
For example you need to keep improve your weight size you lift over a period of time to make sure you are burning the correct amount of energy off and at the same time making sure that you are tearing your muscle fibres too. the muscle fibres need to tear so when they reform, they reform larger and this is how you build muscle.
When you are working out, either at home or the gym you are basically breaking down your muscle fibres by putting them under stress through lifting weights.
When you finish your workout your body will use the nutrients that you eat and drink afterwards to repair the damaged fibres in the muscle. when you are bodybuilding protein intake is also a must too.
Due to a natural process in our bodies our muscles end up be repaired bigger and stronger. the reason they become bigger and stronger is that the body repairs them that way to help protect the body itself against a tears in the future.
So the way you keep improving your strength and muscle size is by improving your weight you lift in future workouts. just keep a note of what you are lifting so you have a bodybuilding plan to keep you focused.
The best way to go forward and improve your muscle growth is by upping your weight or reps from week to week and this keeps your body growing bigger and stronger.
If you do not improve on your weight or reps performed your muscle size and strength will not increase and your body and muscles will stay the same.
The best way of looking at it is if you were performing 3 sets of 10 now with a weight of 100 pounds and then in 3,5 or 6 months time you were still performing the same amount, do you think you would of increased in muscle size?
No chance, you need to keep increasing to keep getting bigger and stronger.
You basically need to give your body a new challenge every week either by more reps or more weight to help it keep growing.
Follow this process and you will become bigger and stronger in no time.
Now you know the principles behind increasing your muscle growth, make a good plan of action and stick to it and enjoy your strength fitness training.
Enjoy your workouts!
