When using a significantly smaller plate, you will be satisfied with the amount because it will look fuller. This will reduce the quantity of the foods you would eat usually. Even switching just from a twelve inch plate to a ten inch plate can help you cut your portion sizes by twenty five percent. This may keep you from eating that extra five hundred calories or more in every meal.

It would be beneficial to cut down on the stuff you add to you coffee, like cream. Once you add a bunch of stuff like syrups and flavored sweeteners, you have just increased the calorie content by seven hundred calories or so per cup. Imagine, just a single cup! If you simply must have your caffeine intake each morning and are craving something sweet, choose a shot of espresso with a dollop of whipped cream on top to sweeten up the beverage. By this simple change, you will cut upwards of six hundred calories out of your daily intake and will barely notice a difference. There is no need to deprive your self of good foods, plus you can still lower calories and eat very good food at the same time. We suggest to people that they take a good multivitamin just to make sure they are getting all they need. This will keep you from doing harm to your system and allow you to see that you can still enjoy the foods you love while you work to lose weight!
