I’m a pretty strong guy and thought my abs were good but I did this with 10lb each hand and it worked me out good and proper! Great exercise guys, this will find it’s way into my workouts from now on

@cinnabunz01 Yeah. I’ve been there. Do a similar type move in Pilates and they always say to keep your chin tucked in to help out the neck.

@sunshinemari081 As long as it’s not huge, you want your hands to be about shoulder distance apart.
@minty11 The more you do it the less it will hurt cause you will be making the muscles in your neck stronger.
I really like this excersise but my neck prevents me from doing more than about 5. How can i do more without my neck getting tired so fast (I train my abs 3-4 xs pr wk)
this exercise looks like a good ad on to any “stale” ab-workout. Im going to try this just for the change. good stuff thx sarah

actually— KBs start at 5 lbs. i would have to say, most should be able to start with 10lbs. this is a great excercise an switch it up by using just one arm…:)
be carefull with this people tend to lunge when going up which means your abs are only doing half the work, squeeze your abs when going down that adds another level of difficulty to the movement.
