Fad diets come and go with popularity. Fad diets usually restrict one group over another or contain no solid food at all. Liquid diet promote losing weight fast, but can they be notionally sound?

The only reason someone should be on a liquid diet is when a physician prescribes it. many gastrointestinal diagnostic tests require a person to be on a liquid diet for a short duration. There is a distinction between a clear liquid and a full liquid diet.

A full liquid diet includes the above plus dairy products, shakes, creamy soups, cereals and pudding. You could lose weight quickly on a liquid diet but skepticism remains. the diet will probably not deliver all its promises.

One summational liquid diet claims to be physician recommended. This diet contains calorie restriction, high protein, low fat and low carbs. This type of diet has a high drop out rate. most liquid diet are not just liquid. It is e dangerous to place your hope of loose weight fast on a liquid diet. You can damage your metabolism with fad diets like these.

Side effects of a high protein liquid diet include constipation, low blood pressure, and calcium imbalance. When you choose a diet plan you want the weight loss to be permanent.

Liquid diet shakes are selling like real hot cakes in the market, as it helps you stick to a weight loss program.

A full or strained liquid diet consists of both clear and opaque liquid foods with a smooth consistency. It includes milk, milkshakes, ice cream, pudding, strained cream soups, fruit nectar with pulp, smooth cooked cereals such as oatmeal and cream of wheat, butter, and honey.

In some cases, a full liquid diet may also include other foods that have been thinned and blended with liquids such as milk, meat or vegetable broth, or fruit or vegetable juice. There are a large number of liquid diet in the market and we will discuss a few of famous liquid diets available in the market.
