The nice thing if you’re worried about burning fat on the calves, is that the further out from the stomach, the easier to lose fat for that body part. If you start dieting, the forearms and the calves are the first to lose fat.

I’m coming back again with a question, hope you can see it. I KNOW that you’re a big BCAA, concretely Leucine BELIEVER. i want to buy a new supplement, and i got to choose between Primaforce BCAA and Primaforce L-Leucine. Both are 500 grams. which one should i choose? I don’t have money to buy both. Thank you, Sir !

My split now is chest/tris-Mon,Legs-Wed,Back/Bis-Fri,Abs-Sat,Shoulders-Sun if not too sore. I do cardio almost everyday for at least 10 to 20 min or more. I workout out mainly late at night except on the weekends. My main problem is delayed muscle soreness, scared of overtraining or undertraining. Should deadlifts go on back day or leg day? If capable, I want to workout 5 to 6 days per week and really isolate muscle groups, but compound heavy lifts I feel are crucial. Kind of a dilema. Thanks.

Sounds like you could stick to the same exercise, but spread them further apart. Rather it be taking a rest day in between specific workouts or changing out one workout for another to allow for ample time to recover.

Cutting = cut calories by 20% and limit carbs to 50g. Up your carbs if your feeling lethargic. Bulking = increase calories about 500 up from maintenance. Up your carbs by multiplying your weight X 2 to get how many grams of carbs. Protein should be at LEAST your weight in grams. More wouldn’t hurt.

yeah every year in the UK we get bullshit ab ads, never been interested though :) what ab exercises do you recomend, how often to do them – in what order? to failure?

Hey Lui, THANK YOU for your videos! Because of your tips, I’m now deadlifting 300 lbs for reps. I’m working out around 4 days per week, 40 to 50 min plus 10 to 20 min cardio post workout. NEED HELP THO. I have delayed muscle soreness 2-3 days post lift. This makes it difficult to train maximum intensity. Deadlifts, I feel more in my upper back and shoulders than my lower back/hamstrings on chest day my shoulders are tight & on fire from prior shoulder day. How can I best split my workouts. Thanx

Hey, Lui, can you make a video talking about the HIIT(High intensity interval training)?
I would love to hear your opinion about this when it comes to fat burning.

I know you’re probably interested in what Lui has to say, but I’d like to recommend a few things if that’s cool.

A lot of people over here across the pond are awakening to all the myths about core training and spot reduction. Meaning that you’ll rarely see people here who know what they’re doing performing exercises like sit ups and etc. at the gym.

Most people just do stability exercises, mountain climbers, leg lifts and etc if anything for abs, and maybe ab vacuums in their private time.

high intensity cardio does not burn fat it burns sugar. Longer less intense cardio burns fat. But and a BIG but the higher intense cardio will get you in much better shape since its working the heart and cardiovascular system more meaning you will be in much better cardio shape lowering your overall heart beats per minute. Do both to get the benefits for both types of cardio.

your peobably not pushing yourself hard enough during your workout. i dont mean workout for 2-3 hours, i mean on each exercise you do you should be pushing to get that last rep every time and really putting ur muscles under tension

  16. systemrootexploited on said:

To say high intensity cardio does NOT burn fat is a bold statement. I agree it can burn some damn muscle up, but to say you body ONLY targets muscle during this type of cardio is ludicrous. It’s going to be taking glycogen, muscle, AND fat. A combination of all 3. Just saying…..not arguing brotha ;)

Do you stretch after your workout and get enough sleep? You might also try glutamine in your post workout shake. You could move shoulders to Wed with legs and on Tues/Thur/Sat do Abs/Cardio or HIIT with bodyweight, medicine ball, etc. Good luck.
