Fitness Plan – Deciding on the Right One

A fitness plan has many benefits to you. Exercise is important. Your health, weight, metabolism benefit, and your overall energy level increases dramatically. Your fitness plan can increase mood and decrease stress and anxiety. more importantly, fitness needs to be fun for continuing success. Decide what motivates you most, what activities you enjoy, and how to fit exercise into you busy schedule.

First, decide on your reason for establishing your plan. do you want to decrease stress, manage weight, more energy, a healthy heart, or various other reasons to create a plan? consider activities that you already perform such as walking the dog, gardening, and taking the stairs at work.

Now you must decide how to fit your plan into your everyday life. make time by cutting the time that you watch television, reducing the amount of time you talk on the phone with friends, or cut some time from one of your other daily rituals.

You need to establish fitness goals for your plan. Write down your goals so that you can stay focused and motivated. Some examples of fitness goals are to run a mile, to complete a 1-hour fitness class, or joining a sports team.

Set your goals and stick to them no matter what and as you progress set new goals in your plan for continuing success. Keep the sheet with your plan and place it somewhere easy to find for when you need to revisit the plan. Never be afraid to try something new and exciting.
