A large number of people are what we classify as overweight. The reason that they are is attached to 3 simple facts. They eat bad food at the worst time of the day and in the wrong quantity.

While they make all those mistakes they think that just be taking a pill they are going to lose weight. Well, they couldn’t be more wrong. What you need to understand is that what will help you lose weight are not pills, but eating the right food, in the right amount at the right time. If you do all those things and exercise just twice a week you will never gain weight again. If you don’t even exercise will never help.

How many meals do you eat a day? Two, three or even maybe only one meal? This is a huge mistake that many people are making and what it does is making you fat. When your biggest meal happens to be your dinner, then you are sure to gain weight. This only way you could get away with this is if you happened to be someone that just doesn’t gain weight no matter what, but frankly, those people are very few and among us. Most likely if you are reading this that is not you.

The mistake of low calorie diets

The very reason why low calorie diets do not work is because our system adapts to the amount of calories we ingest and buns them accordingly. What this means is that if you eat a low 900-1000 calories a day that is what your body will work with and you won’t lose more calories than you’ve ingested. On the other hand, if you ingest 2000 calories a day that is what your body will work with and you will spend those 2000 calories. This is because the nature of our body is to always preserve itself. You body will never get rid of what it doesn’t have, unless you are left somewhere for days without food and your body goes into a starvation mode.

The mistake of the low fat diets

It is the same thing with low fat diet. It is not the fat that makes you gain weight, but the amount of fat and at what time of the day you are consuming it. In other words, if you ate what you eat a 10:00 AM after 6:00 PM it will have a total different effect on your body and ultimately on your weight. This is why while having more lower fat foods than ever before, people are more fat than ever before.

When you will have taken away these two myths of weight loss you will have accomplished a lot already and you can get on the right track and start losing weight today.
